The text beside the statues says "Where the rivers meet - Desmet began." I took the liberty to finish the sentence with some truth.

This is a statue (or group of statues) on campus. It is by far the most dispicable. Others often complain of the various statues of naked people. I actually kind of like those. But this one is a very clear representation of what is wrong with Christianity, and any other religion that seeks to gain new members by destroying the potential member's culture in order to conform to the "One, True" religion. This is a depiction of genocide, and I am ashamed to have it on the campus where I am supposed to have knowledge touch my life.
